Meet Your Charlottesville Dental Team
We’re not shy about saying that our dental team is one of the best in the business! Each member is a highly-educated and experienced dental professional that is committed to making sure our patients have all of their needs met before, during, and after their appointment. They’ll make you actually look forward to your next dental visit! Below, you can get to know some of the friendly faces you’ll be seeing at Albert Family Dentistry.
Ashley, Office Manager & Insurance Specialist
Ashley came to our office four years ago, and she loves making people smile! She has her certification in dental radiation safety. Originally from Orange, she is married to her husband Wes and enjoys crafting, being outdoors, and playing with her dog Buck in her spare time. She is also a volunteer firefighter/EMT for the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Company!
Lois, Registered Dental Hygienist
Lois was raised in Lititz, PA, and had to visit the dentist frequently. Although having cavities filled was not fun, Lois soon decided that she wanted to become a dental hygienist. After earning an Associate Degree from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene, Lois graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Health Management from Northeastern University. She met her husband, John, in her dental chair and together they travelled extensively before settling in Charlottesville. They have a married daughter and an adult son. Lois enjoys reading, tennis, skiing and church activities. To celebrate turning 50 she ran the Richmond marathon with her daughter. Lois joined the practice in 1998 and is passionate about connecting with her patients and giving them the best possible oral hygiene care.
Rhonda, Registered Dental Hygienist
Rhonda is from Stanley, VA and she’s been working in dentistry for 20 years and counting. She received her education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her favorite part of her job is serving her patients!
Rhonda and her husband Scott have three kids named Graham, Garrett, and Gavin. When she isn’t busy at work, she enjoys reading, camping, cheering on UVA, and watching her boys play sports. She actually grew up on a cattle and chicken farm (with over 50,000 chickens!) and knows how to drive a tractor and bale hay.
